Six Great Ways to Donate!
Please note that we under the umbrella of Second Hope Circle, a nonprofit organizations. They handle donations for us and disburse them to our program. As we are not yet a registered charity, we cannot issue tax receipts.
1. Donations can easily be made via etransfer to info@secondhopecircle.org
2. Donate through Paypal by using the button below. Don’t have a paypal account? Click the button “Donate with a Card” to proceed using your credit card. If you wish, you can also set up a recurring monthly payment.
3. Consider signing up to be a Patreon! You can donate as little as $2 a month to see photos and stories which are not posted on our social media channels. See what goes on in our rescue efforts for Super Senior Cat Sanctuary. You’ll hear about incoming cats before anyone else.
4. Does your employer match donations? Benevity is a commonly used donation matching platform and we are registered to receive donations! Ask your employer if they participate in donation matching. We are also happy to use other donation matching platforms.
5. Cheques can also be sent. Please contact us for the mailing address. Cheques are written out to Second Hope Circle.
6. You can donate directly to our account at the vet clinics we use via phone! Please contact us if you’d like to do this so we can provide you the account and clinic details.
We truly appreciate all of our amazing donors! We do shout outs on social media for monetary & item donations (often in “stories”). If you’d like an email or card for your donation please reach out via email. Many of the above donation methods do not provide us with an email or mailing address so we have no way of contacting you to send a personal thank you.
Item Donations
We have an Amazon Wishlist full of items to help us care for the cats at the Sanctuary.
Donations of items can also be accepted in person at a drop off spot in Brantford. We can use;
- Gift cards (pet stores, walmart, visa gift card, gas gift card etc)
- Canned cat food like Fancy Feast pate
- Recovery and AD emergency wet cat foods
- Sterile needles, syringes, & fluids
- X large pee pads & paper towels
- Unscented clumping cat litter (we like Dr Elsey’s brand especially!)
- New & gently used items to include in our twice annual online auction fundraisers
- Feliway diffuser refills
- Towels and blankets (unfortunately we cannot use sheets or pillows)
