BIO:
Seamus (pronounced “shay-mus”) is a lovely boy. He adores being picked up and will snuggle right into your neck and purr. Seamus was found outside and ended up at a local animal control. He was declawed at some point in his life.
Seamus does show signs of arthritis so he gets a twice daily pill to help with pain management. The cost of this medication is approximately $90 per month (can vary by clinic). He can still jump short distances and loves to snooze on cat trees and window ledges. He really loves to look outside and spend time in a screened in porch. Seamus also has kidney disease. At this time he receives a supplement in his wet food and we monitor his bloodwork every 6 months.
Seamus does co-exist with other cats. He’s not a huge fan but just avoids them. He’d prefer a home without other cats but could be fine depending on their personality. He’s met a cat friendly dog and had no issue with them (and even rubs against them). He should be fine with other calm animals. He has met a 6-10 year old kids and tends to give them space. Seamus enjoys playing, catnip and being brushed.

MEDICAL: Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, Visually impaired

BIO:
Baby came to us when her person went to hospital and no one in the family could take care of Baby long term. She is 19 years old and very sweet. She loves attention, food and being brushed!
She can be a little sassy and chomp if overstimulated or pressure is put on her back end, she is good about giving warning and this has only happened at the vet clinic.
Baby has arthritis and gets a twice daily pain pill. She uses pet stairs to get on the couch and enjoys laying on a heated cat bed most of the day. She sometimes overhangs the litter box to pee, so we use a pee pad to make clean up easy. Baby experienced a high blood pressure event that impacted her vision. She has since regained some vision but it’s not 100%. Her blood pressure is now well controlled with a once daily pill. Thankfully Baby is easy to pill.
Baby had a heart ultrasound in January. The recommendation is to repeat this in the summer to ensure there are no changes to her heart, but at this time there are no concerns.
She is okay with other cats who give her space. Baby would love someone to snuggle up beside!
Rosalie

STATUS: Available!
Approximate Date of Birth: 2012
BREED: DSH
COLOUR: Brown & white tabby
GENDER: Spayed Female
MEDICAL: Diabetic
Petfinder Profile: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/rosalie-b4910279-7e60-4906-b005-1359936fbe36/on/brantford/second-hope-circle-on606/details/
BIO: Rosalie is a very sweet girl who found herself at a local animal control after being found as a stray. She was clearly loved at some point because she is affectionate, well mannered and good with kids (youngest she has met was 7).
Rosalie has had a dental with extractions so her mouth feels much better. She was declawed at some point in her life. Rosalie has met a calm cat-friendly dog at her foster home and is okay as long as she is given space. At this time Rosalie is not good with other cats and initiates fights if she sees one.
Rosalie is diabetic which means that she needs insulin 1-2 times daily and receives regular blood glucose testing. She is a good girl and very easy to test and provide injections. We’re very happy to teach and support her adopters in learning how to do this. We are also hopeful she will go into remission and no longer require insulin.
Rosie loves food and enjoys playing with catnip toys. She enjoys hanging out around people and can be picked up easily. She’s very quiet and when she does meow almost no sound comes out. Great in the car too.
Everyone who meets her falls in love!
