Pet loss and grief is woven into senior cat rescue and adoption. We celebrate all of the amazing cats we’ve helped through Super Senior Cat Sanctuary and miss the ones that passed away. We have an In Memory page that shares their photos and stories. Palliative care has always been part of our rescue and finding ways to remember these precious souls is incredibly important.
We want everyone to know that they were here, they mattered, and they were loved.

August 28th is Rainbow Bridge remembrance day. This year we are providing two options to remember a beloved pet while supporting the cats at the Sanctuary.
Pocket Hugs
A sweet little memento to squeeze when you miss them. These are also a lovely idea for children who miss their pets while at school.
Generously donated by Rachelle and Kystyn. These little hugs were handmade by The Captain’s Daughter in Hamilton. Each pocket hug is available for a donation of $10 or more.

Virtual Memorial Market
A sweet little market to remember our pets. Each stall represents a pet and their favourite food. Each stall when clicked will lead you to a page with a photo of the pet.
